Happy Birthday to us!

How has it been five years already?!

Today, Live Well with Cancer celebrates our 5th birthday, and we can’t wait to share the occasion with our growing community.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years – your support helps make our vital work possible.

Five Years of Live Well

We asked some of our trustees and beneficiaries what Live Well with Cancer means to them. Find out all about our charity by watching our video.

 Annual report

Just five years since we founded, Live Well with Cancer has become a cornerstone of the North Tyneside cancer community, offering a range of workshops, events and support groups that empower people to improve their health and wellbeing.

Since moving into our home in the heart of North Shields, we have seen a continuing increase in attendances as our community grows and we build partnerships with other organisations in the region.

Our Wellbeing Centre provides a safe space for people affected by cancer to build healthier lifestyles, while North Bank Café acts as a bridge for people in our community who might not want to access more formal cancer services.

While it is important that we continue to seek funding for core costs and increase our fundraising, the future is bright for our charity as we continue to find better ways to address unmet needs and provide invaluable support to our cancer community.

Thank you!

Our work would not be possible without the help of our supporters and the trusts and foundations that have funded our projects over the years. We want to thank every person who has contributed to our charity and helped people in our community to live well with cancer.
