We care

Live Well With Cancer was created by people who have personally been affected by cancer. We are experienced in cancer care and are passionate about helping people through their pathway.

We empower

Everyone faces different challenges when they or someone they know gets a cancer diagnosis. We deliver bespoke and flexible workshops and events that give people their help they need when they need it.

We are a community

Almost 50% of people will get cancer in their lifetime. In the North East alone, there are 16,000 newly diagnosed cancer every year. We are building a community that empowers people to live life with and beyond a cancer diagnosis.

Live Well with Cancer helps people affected by cancer diagnosis to improve their health and wellbeing. From our Live Well Hub in the heart of North Shields, we offer free workshops, events, support groups, 1-2-1 support and educational resources that helps our community to live life fully with and beyond a cancer diagnosis.

Live Well with Cancer helps people affected by cancer to improve their health and wellbeing through self-help, mutual support and signposting to existing services.

Howay the Bay 2026

Thank you to everyone who took part in our 2nd annual Howay the Bay 15km(ish) from Blyth beach to Northumberland Park in North Shields. 87 people took on the route, raising an amazing £3,726 for our charity!
